Just to confirm, we will only be having a break of 2 weeks over the Christmas period, 25th Dec and 1st Jan. So, we will be training up to the 18th Dec and starting again on the 8th Jan.
We now have our mats and equipment at Salvatorian College gym. Many thanks to those of you who were able to help with the move today.
See you all on Monday!
Good news! We ARE starting training next Monday (18th Sept) at Salvatorian College (High Road, Harrow Weald, HA3 5DY). 6:30 – 8:30pm, as usual. (It’s 15 minutes’ walk from Harrow and Wealdstone station.)
We will be in the gym, which is the large building overlooking the main road. Go down the gap between the gym and the builder’s hoarding (they are having some building work done) to the black security gate.
As it’s the first session, a member of the caretaking staff will be there at 6:30pm to let everyone in. He will also explain how to let late-comers in. Sarah will be in charge (I am not in London next Monday).
Hope you can all make it!
Unfortunately, it has taken longer than expected to finalise the arrangements to start training at the new venue on Monday 11th September. We should be up and running for the 18th instead, but will confirm next week.
We are planning to start training at Salvatorian College on Monday 11th September (6:30 – 8:30pm), so put the date in your diaries.
We are just sorting out the details, so the date is currently provisional. We will confirm as soon as it’s definite.
You should already know, but this is just to confirm that the national syllabus course that was originally scheduled for 9th Sept has, unfortunately, had to be cancelled. (The attempt to move it to 2nd Sept did not work out.)
Good news! Harrow club training will start again at Salvatorian College (HA3 5DY) in September – exact date to be confirmed.
The College is about 15 minutes’ walk from Harrow and Wealdstone station (or 5 minutes by bus). We will still train 6:30 – 8:30 on Monday evenings.
More details to follow.
Sorry, still no new training venue yet, so no Harrow club training tonight.
Don’t forget the national course this Saturday, 10:30 – 1:30, followed by a picnic lunch. Hosted by the Basingstoke club. It includes a taster session for family and friends, so everyone is invited, including children. I’ll be going by car if anyone wants a lift.
Sorry, we haven’t sorted out a new training venue yet, so there is no Harrow club training today. Do go along to one of the other London clubs instead if you can.
Don’t forget, there is a national Aiuchi training course and picnic lunch on Saturday 22nd July, hosted by the Basingstoke club. Everyone is invited, including family and friends. There will be a taster Jiu Jitsu session for adults and children who may want to have a go for the first time. I’m planning to go, and am happy to take a car load. So, let me know if you are interested in coming.
Just a reminder, no training at the Harrow club tonight as we’re still between venues.
You would all be very welcome at one of the other London clubs for a few sessions while we sort things out. All the clubs are listed on www.aiuchi.net.
